Mission Statement
To stimulate interest in men’s golf at the Somersett Golf and Country Club by bringing together a group of men golfers desirous of forming a golfing organization.
In order to promote and foster among the members a closer bond and fraternity for their joint and mutual benefit, and to promote and conserve the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf as embodied in its ancient and honorable traditions. Also, to encourage conformance to the USGA Rules of golf by creating a representative authority, and to maintain a uniform system of handicapping as set forth in the USGA Handicap System and issue USGA Handicap Indexes to the members. Finally, to provide an advisory body to assist the professional golf staff in the governing and conducting of men’s club competitions.
