Men’s Golf Association Mission Statement

The mission of the Somersett Men's Golf Association (SMGA) is to ignite a passion for men’s golf within the Somersett community. We aim to assemble a group of enthusiastic men golfers eager to establish a premier golfing society. Our goals are:

  • To cultivate a sense of fraternity and solidarity among our members, benefiting all.
  • To uphold and promote the true spirit and best practices of golf, adhering to its ancient and honorable traditions.
  • To enforce the USGA Rules of Golf, establish a uniform handicapping system, and issue USGA Handicap Indexes to members.
  • To serve as a consultative entity, supporting the professional golf staff in organizing and managing men’s club competitions.

Ladies’ Golf Association (SLGA)

The SLGA is committed to:

  • Championing the core values and spirit of golf, following its time-honored traditions.
  • Enhancing camaraderie and building strong bonds among members.
